On the 5th In September 1942, 73 Jews were deported from Fulda to Theresienstadt. Only two survived.

Young people of the project “Jewish Life in Fulda” of the Winfriedschule, together with descendants of the people, commemorate the event 81 years ago.

The event starts on the 5th. September 2023 at 5:30 p.m. at the old Jewish cemetery, corner of Rabanusstraße/Sturmiusstraße. After introductory words and the laying of 73 memorial stones, we go on a silent march to the station forecourt.

The event ends there after a minute’s silence around 6:30 p.m.
